Today, Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation announced plans to revive the former Flint Kitchen & Bar space at 40-50 Fountain Plaza in Downtown’s Central Business District. Ciminelli is collaborating with the teams behind downtown favorites Marble & Rye and Fresh Catch to create a unique eatery dubbed Prova @ The Plaza. Michael Tobin of Fresh Catch and Michael Dimmer of Marble and Rye are putting the pieces together to fuel this exciting venture with a commitment to enhancing the culinary landscape of the community and bringing back familiar faces from the Flint operation.
Scheduled to reopen later this spring, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, the revamped restaurant will feature an enticing Italian coffee house concept and an updated, contemporary interior. Guests can expect a coffee program similar to Flint, along with pastries from Butter Block and other popular breakfast items. For lunch, the offerings include the best scratch-made kitchen options such as handcrafted dough, Sicilian slices, healthy grain bowls, and fresh seafood among other offerings. Local branding agency Mr. Smith has been engaged to help update the brand and interior of the space, which will enhance the overall dining experience and ensure that every aspect of the visit is memorable.
The emphasis is on convenience, efficiency, and atmosphere with a variety of grab-and-go options and a self-checkout to ensure a positive, efficient, and seamless experience for patrons on the move. Additionally, plans are underway to introduce a bar after the necessary legalities are coordinated.
