The Mentholatum. Buffalo, NY

Constructed in 1909 for the Mentholatum Company, the building at 1360 Niagara Street in the City of Buffalo is an adaptive reuse of an 80,000 square foot former daylight factory, similar in design to our Bethune Lofts project.  Our redevelopment plans include the creation of 49, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments ranging in size from 850 - 1,300 square feet with outstanding views of the city and the Niagara River.  6 first floor units will have outdoor patio space facing the Niagara River.

Plans also include public outdoor space facing the Niagara River with picnic amenities.  An attached single story warehouse building of approximately 3,500 square feet will house retail space, and parking will be available underneath the building and in areas directly adjacent to the site.

The apartment units will be market rate and boast generous kitchens, walk-in closets, double vanities, pantries, in-unit laundry, fireplaces, and high level finishes.  In addition, the project will provide an interior bicycle storage room, a multi-purpose community room, outdoor recreation space, dog wash, and additional basement storage.
